Miami is lovely beach town located south of Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Miami has a spectacular stretch of beach perfect for families and children. It's an excellent place to bring your families and friends for afternoon barbeques or a snack at one of the cafes along the esplanade. And just a little further from the beach you'll find Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Make sure to leave time for a visit to view the many wildlife species there.
And just a short drive inland from the beach are the Currumbin Rock Pools in Mt Cougal National Park. There are several pools and cascades that make for plenty of fun for the whole family.
Coolangatta is located at the southern end of the Gold Coast on the border between Queensland and New South Wales. Coolangatta shares this ear with its 'twin town' of Tweed Heads.
